What we’ve been up to
CNHM Exhibit
Good Sky Guidance worked with the Cable Natural History Museum to produce an exhibit titled, "Anaamaagon: Under the Snow" that invited visitors to enter a hidden realm where mice play, weasels hunt, and life depends on deep snow. We had the honor of integrating Ojibwe knowledge and teaching methods into this exhibit.
NAF Plenary
Bazile Minogiizhigaabo Panek and Ziigwanikwe Katy Bresette gave the Opening Plenary for the 2024 National Adaptation Forum. Their presentation focused on building and strengthening relationships with Indigenous peoples.
Cultural Awareness Training for BOALTC
Good Sky Guidance hosted a Cultural Awareness Training for Wisconsin's Board on Aging & Long Term Care which included discussions on Wisconsin tribes, the importance of elders to tribal communities, and building relationships with tribal communities.
